Sylvain Tognelli

Sylvain is attracted to the unknown. What I mean about this is that he likes to put himself in situations where faith and hope become the two guiding principles, obviously a little bit of trust but generally stupidity. He wants to push experience to the edge to see if he comes out the other side. He is comfortable when pursuing the uncomfortable. He recently showed me a photograph of himself skating a big handrail in Berlin. The hand rail was un-skateable though. Not because of its design but because it was January in Berlin and there was thick snow everywhere. I was like ‘how did you get on the rail’? He must of had wood on the run up and landing? No, what he did scrape the snow away for it and yes it did turn to thick ice the following morning. I think this is the point where you can really understand him, because he did it off the ice and landed on the ice. I am sure he would have perceived the slam as equal to the experience of riding away, he just wants to see what happens. – Jensen

What a tea leaf! Going into garages and taking drinks, maps, flags, sweets, anything he can get his hands on. But he does share so its cool. – Jerome

A cheeky French man with a heart of gold. Always up for trying stupid things. I would say he’s a bit of a ladies man but has the face of a horse and is a bit of a supermarket thief. – Smith
